Here is the report from today's Book Club. Special thanks to Stephanie for hosting us today on this bright and sunny day (after the 6 more inches of snow that we got last night). There were 7 of us that came together (we missed the Southern Gals) and we had an interesting discussion on "A Girl Named Zippy". Some of us liked it, some of us didn't care for it, some of us found it boring, and some of us thought we could all write this book about our childhood, but we managed to hit all the funny, sad, hot spots, etc. throughout the book.
For our April Book (Claire's picks), the unanimous decision was "Age of Iron" by J.M. Coetzee.
Our March Book (Carol's pick) is "Sacre Bleu" and the meeting will be held at The Colonel Spencer Inn on Sunday, March 29th at 12:30 PM. I'll be in touch as it gets closer.
That's all for now. Hope you all have a wonderful March and let's all hope and pray that SPRING is coming SOON!!!!
